Of course, you are welcome to take photos in typical Japanese tourist spots, but why not take a documentary of your family's stay in Japan as it is, rather than just choosing photogenic locations for the session? It could be in the city / town, at a local restaurant or park, and if you wish, I can even start shooting from your hotel, and help you capture your unique "A-day-in-Japan".

My style for portrait sessions is warm, joyful, nostalgic, and most importantly, stress-free. It is my number one goal to make sure all of my couples and families are relaxed and having the time of their lives at their portrait session. 1. SAY HELLO
The best way to reach me is by filling out my contact form.
Tell me a little about you, your family, and what type of session you are looking for. The more information you share with me up front, the easier the booking process will be. I will get back to you as soon as possible, then we will chat and pick our session date!
2. PLANNING YOUR SESSION
Once you are locked in on my calendar, we will start planning your session! Choose your favorite location type (village, lake, city, shrines, etc) and I will help you find the best spot possible.
I am your guide throughout this entire process and I am here to help. I want you to ask questions and know that I will always be there for you. You are not alone in this family session journey.
3. LET'S SHOOT!
It's your session day! All I ask you to do is be yourself. I will gently guide you to make you look and feel good. You will have fun during our time together. Let your kids run wild and be silly. Cuddle up with your partners on a blanket. Enjoy each other and show me all the family love!
4. YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS
You will be able to see all of your beautiful photos and decide on which collection is right for you. Images are downloaded and purchases are made directly from the gallery. Easy! Thank you for trusting me with your precious memories!
5. ENJOY YOUR TREASURE
Download your images and they will be yours to keep forever. You'll see the artful record of love, belonging, and connection of your family.

A non-refundable retainer covers my time and talent during your couple / family session, as well as all pre-planning. This non-refundable retainer also secures your date on my calendar! Everyone else is turned away for that date and time.

I was very happy to have the photographer capture such ordinary moments in our home, such as my oldest son crying because he didn't want to get dressed, and my eldest daughter eating her breakfast with her big brother standing by her side. Until now, we had only hired a photographer to take pictures at milestone occasions such as birthdays, but unlike before, we were able to take pictures in our natural state, which was very nice. I strongly felt the beauty of preserving everyday life in a tangible form.
